Add people profiles to a page

How to create a new people profile and configure the compilation feed so the correct profiles appear.

Step 1: Create a new 'people' profile

  • Expand the 'Shared Content' folder in the content tree on the left.
  • Expand the 'People' folder.
  • Right click on one of the existing profiles and click 'copy'.
  • Select the 'People' folder as your target destination.
  • Update the profile with  a new Label, Page Title, Summary, Image.
  • Expand the 'Navigation' expander menu and select 'add category'
  • From the popup menu, choose the category or categories that relate to this content ie;. which feeds it should appear.  Check the boxes of the categories that apply.
  • If the category doesn't exist yet or you're creating a new type of feed, first select 'Contact type' then click the 'new' button and enter the name of your new category accordingly.
  • Lastly, press save and then go to the URLs tab (this can be found in the 'Properties' dropdown) and update the URL accordingly. Naming convention should match the page title separated by dashes without spaces or special characters.

Step 2: Ensure the Compilation feed on the page has the correct settings.

  • Navigate to a page that contains the Compilation widget already or insert the Compilation widget onto a new web page.
  • Then, open the settings for that widget by clicking the block and then the cog icon in the top right hand corner of the block. This will open the widget settings. In this case, the 'Compilation Properties' popup.
  • Ensure that Category 1 Parent field is set to 'Contact Type' and Category 1 Initial field is set to the right category.
  • You can also update the layout of your feed to be two, three, or four column by updating the Layout Class Name(s) field

Example 1

A three column feed of the 'Partnerships' category of people profiles. Click the cog icon to open the widget properties and investigate the different settings applied. Note: the styling of summary text ie;. hyperlinked phone number and email, is done using HTML in the summary field of the each profile itself.

Example 2

A four column feed of the 'Research Advisory Committee' category of people profiles. Click the cog icon to open the widget properties and investigate the different settings applied.

Dr Brenda Weigel

MD, MSc

Dr Weigel is Director of the Division of Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at Masonic Cancer Centre, University of Minnesota. A professor at U of M’s Cancer Centre and Department of Paediatrics, she holds the Lehman/Children’s Cancer Research Fund Endowed Chair in Paediatric Cancer. She also chairs Developmental Therapeutics for the Children’s Oncology Group.

Professor Jonathan G Izant

PhD

Professor Izant has extensive global experience in biomedical research, business, and non-profit leadership. He has worked at Yale School of Medicine, Garvan Institute, QUT, Johnson & Johnson, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He has helped establish biotech and bioinformatics companies and has served on multiple government and private research funding committees.

Associate Professor Andrew Moore

MBBS, FRACP, PhD

Associate Professor Moore is a Senior Staff Specialist in Paediatric Oncology at Queensland Children’s Hospital, where he directs Clinical and Biomedical Research. He specialises in childhood leukaemia, particularly acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). He holds an academic title with The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Medicine and leads the Queensland Children's Tumour Bank.

Dr Jordana McLoone

MBBS UNSW, MD/PhD UNSW, Dip Paed, FRACP (Chair)

Dr McLoone is a senior research fellow in the Behavioural Sciences Unit, Australia's largest paediatric psycho-oncology research group. She holds positions at UNSW Sydney and the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children's Hospital. Her research explores the psychosocial impact of childhood cancer, and she is actively involved in international initiatives and telehealth innovation.

Associate Professor David Ziegler

MBBS UNSW, MD/PhD UNSW, Dip Paed, FRACP (Chair)

Associate Professor Ziegler is a senior Staff Specialist at the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. A paediatric oncologist with expertise in neuro-oncology and early phase clinical trials, he also leads a research group at the Children’s Cancer Institute and is a conjoint Associate Professor at UNSW Sydney.
