The Kids’ Cancer Project is delighted to announce the commencement of a corporate partnership with electrical retail franchisor BSR Group.
The nationwide entity has a long history of supporting meaningful causes that align with its company values of resilience, hope and creating better futures, values shared by The Kids’ Cancer Project.
The partnership was finalised at a formal cheque presentation with The Kids’ Cancer Project CEO Owen Finegan and founder Col Reynolds OAM in attendance.
Cancer has touched many within the BSR community, from team members to franchisees and customers. BSR Retail Media and Partnerships Manager, Jordan Tindal, says that deep connection and commitment to change the lives of those affected is what kickstarted BSR’s journey to corporate partnership with The Kids’ Cancer Project.
“The announcement of this partnership with The Kids’ Cancer Project is just the beginning,” she says.
“We’re so grateful to be part of this journey. In such a short period of time, we’ve formed an instant connection with the entire The Kids’ Cancer Project team, it already feels like they are a longstanding partner and an extension of the BSR Group family.
“Partnerships like this are about more than fundraising; they’re about building awareness, inspiring action, and creating hope. We’re proud to stand alongside The Kids’ Cancer Project and to play a role, however big or small, in helping to change outcomes for kids with cancer.”
BSR took on the Better Challenge as a corporate team during September, with stores, suppliers, staff and customers rallying together to support childhood cancer research. Tindal says the sense of pride and unity its created has been palpable.
“We’re always maintained the belief that businesses have a responsibility to do more than just serve their customers, and through the power of connection and community, we can create positive change.
“Seeing the bravery of kids and families facing such challenges inspires us to go further, knowing that every contribution helps fund vital discoveries that could improve survival rates and give more children a healthy future.
“Focusing on childhood cancer research through this partnership feels especially powerful, as it gives hope for greater outcomes for these incredible young people and their families.”
The Kids’ Cancer Project CEO, Owen Finegan, says he is thrilled to officially welcome BSR on board as a partner of the organisation.
“We are so thankful to BSR for their support and commitment to childhood cancer research and we know it’s only the start of a really important partnership, as we strive to make a difference together for every Aussie kid impacted by cancer.”
