Every child deserves an education.
This study will develop and test an online support program for children and adolescent survivors returning to school. READ MORE.

Research is helping more young people survive cancer than ever before. However, diagnosis and treatment disrupts education which can negatively impact social and academic skill development.

Children and adolescents often have a strong desire to return to school shortly after intensive treatment, as it provides a sense of normalcy. However, along with fatigue and problems with concentration and attention, a lack of support and understanding from teachers can be a key barrier to successful school reintegration.

The Ready, Steady, School Program aims to help young cancer survivors return to school by giving parents, students and education professionals access to reliable information and resources.
