How to switch shop products on/off
The shop products can remain published at all times, the current process to show/hide them within the shop is based around settings on each product.
To display a product which is published but is not appearing in the shop you should check the following on the content tab for the product you wish to display:
- Navigation section - Product Placement Flags settings need to have Display in product browsing pages checked on, this tells the widgets processing articles to show the product.
- In the inventory section Track inventory setting to be set to No.
This configuration will display the product.
To hide a product:
- Navigation section - Product Placement Flags to have Display in product browsing pages checked off.
- In the inventory section Track inventory setting to be set to Yes, Sell only if items available setting to be checked on and Available Items setting to be set to 0.
This configuration will hide the product.
