The Joyce Family’s annual Big Hearts for Brave Kids fundraiser is back in 2025, as the Shepparton locals set their sights on a goal on a massive $50,000 for childhood cancer research this Christmas!
After raising $15,000 last year and receiving a letter from their local MP for their efforts, the group, comprising Tony, Bec, Shylah, Ryder, Lyn, Leon, Cloe, Joel, Dan, Jacinta, Ben and Michelle, have already managed to more than double last year’s total, raising $31,000 by the first week of November.
That number has been achieved off the back of a recent Halloween fundraiser undertaken by Ben late last month, which featured a maze, a trick or treat activation and more!
The entire community are digging deep again to help the Joyce’s with their ‘Christmas Cathedral’. There are raffle prizes on offer, with Santa due to make a visit despite his busy schedule on Christmas Eve. All proceeds will help fund The Kids’ Cancer Project’s innovative research projects that aim to make a difference for kids with cancer sooner.

Changing the name of our fundraiser to Big Hearts for Brave Kids celebrates the expanding circle of families who’ve joined in to support children facing tough battles. Every twinkling light, every donation, and every shared moment helps brighten the lives of brave kids in need.
“We’re still the same joyful, festive fundraiser you know and love, just with a name that reflects the power of community and the size of our hearts.
