Absolutely! Right from the start we can help by providing fundraising ideas, hints and tips to help you decide on your type of fundraiser, how to plan, promote and run it, and how your funds raised support childhood cancer research.

Once you have registered your fundraiser, we will provide you with everything you need to help make your fundraiser a great success!

Yes, before you start fundraising for The Kids’ Cancer Project, we will need to authorise your fundraising activity.

Under the 1991 Charitable Fundraising Acts, any individual or groups wishing to fundraise for The Kids’ Cancer Project must first register with us, including the date, venue/s and type of fundraising being conducted (cash or in-kind).

How you raise funds is completely up to you. You can join an existing fundrasing event or create your own. To collect funds, you can either use an online fundraising page, or collect cash donations, sell raffle tickets, host an event – or do all together!

To help decide how you will fundraise, please contact our team on 1800 651 158 or email fundraising@tkcp.org.au. Please remember though, before you start you do need to read our guidelines and register your fundraiser with us.

First, please read our Fundraising Guidelines to check that your fundraiser meets our guidelines.Then, simply return a completed Agreement to Fundraise form to us for approval.

When your fundraiser has been approved, you will receive an Authority to Fundraise letter confirming you are permitted to promote and collect donations on our behalf, so you can get started!

The Kids' Cancer Project receives no government funding and relies on the support of the community and its corporate friends in order to exist. Fundraising helps raise vital funds for continued investment in medical research to improve treatments for kids with cancer, and find a cure!
