Our research priorities direct where funds go.
We fund scientific research to help children with many types of cancer. Our mission is to support bold projects that have the greatest chance of achieving our vision of one hundred percent survival for children with cancer while eradicating the harmful impacts treatment can bring. We take a strategic approach to directing funds based on the six priorities below. For more information about our research grants, contact owen@tkcp.org.au.

Improving survival and treatments
We invest in developing best practice and new technologies across all modalities.

Late effects and quality of life
We place importance on the ongoing quality of life of survivors of childhood cancer.

Capabilities
We support collaboration and career development of childhood cancer researchers.

Understanding childhood cancer
We selectively invest in building knowledge surrounding the causes of childhood cancer.

Adolescents and Young Adults (AYAs)
We recognise the significant drop in survival rates once a child reaches 16.

Equal access to care
We advocate for children with cancer, regardless of geographical or socioeconomic status.
