Generous philanthropic contributions through Trusts, Foundations and Private Ancillary Funds (PAFs) enable The Kids' Cancer Project to fund vital childhood cancer research. These significant donations give scientists the means, encouragement and confidence to continue their work, and children the chance to live, grow up and smile even more brightly.
Professor Nick Gottardo, Co-Head of the Telethon Kids Institute’s Brain Tumour Research Team, explains why philanthropic support is so important.
“At least 50 per cent of what we do is funded through philanthropy,” Professor Gottardo said. “To be successful in research you have to be innovative and never complacent.”
The Ronald Geoffrey Arnott Foundation has generously awarded a $106,713 grant to The Kids’ Cancer Project to help children affected by brain cancer.
With thanks to the support of our partners we can continue to fund vital childhood cancer research. Contact our team today to see how we can work together.
