The Kids’ Cancer Project crew visited Optus’ Sydney Campus to hold a bear drive to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, on the 7th September.

CEO of The Kids’ Cancer Project Owen Finegan rolled up his sleeves to help process all the donations and sales.
“It was great to see the Optus staff, six deep queued up to make a difference to kids doing it tough, fighting cancer.”

Optus staff and contractors showed incredible support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, with over $5,000 raised and a hundred bears donated to our national Hospital Bear Program.

“A huge thank you to Jacqui Rodgers the Community Partnerships Manager and Tom Forwood Corporate Manager – Billing Development: Consumer Billing at Optus for inviting The Kids’ Cancer Project to hold the bear drive, we definitely saw heroes in action for kids with Cancer” said Owen.
