Company donates 10 per cent of profits to charity Harris Mackay have entered into a partnership to help kids diagnosed with cancer.

The Kids’ Cancer Project and Harris Mackay have announced a partnership to enable the funding of more scientific research to help children with many different types of cancer. 

Harris Mackay is a construction project management company specialising in refurbishments and fit outs in the commercial offices, retail and hospitality sectors. The company is generously donating 10 per cent of all profits to The Kids’ Cancer Project, an independent charity that funds childhood cancer research in leading institutions around the country.
 

Andrew Harris, CEO and founder of the interior fit out firm first learned about the charity at industry fundraising functions.
 

“I was already familiar with The Kids’ Cancer Project having attended several events through the Facilities Management Association who have a partnership with them,” said Harris.

“After meeting the management team personally and hearing the story of Alex, a teenager who had cancer as a child, I was compelled to do more to help.”

“I reviewed my balance sheet and realised that by donating 10 per cent of the profits of sales Harris Mackay could make a huge impact.”
 
Owen Finegan, The Kids’ Cancer Project CEO is delighted Harris Mackay is joining the mission to fund bold scientific research to bring about the 100 per cent survival of children with cancer.
 

“We are incredibly grateful Harris Mackay are with us on our mission,” he said. “Together we will fund the best science to find kinder, more effective treatments and improve survival rates of the disease that kills more Australian children than any other.”
