Meet Oscar. He's three and facing the
biggest challenge of his life.
Oscar was diagnosed with stage 4, high risk neuroblastoma in May. It sounds technical, but in simple terms it means that he has an aggressive type of childhood cancer and a difficult battle lies ahead for him and his family.
He’s had chemotherapy to shrink the tumours, he’s had surgery to remove them, the largest of which was the size of a tennis ball and he’s lost a kidney. As I write this, he is facing his greatest test of strength yet- a bone marrow transplant.
We are so proud of Oscar’s strength and contagious smile and grateful to his family for sharing this journey with us during such a difficult time.
You can keep following Oscar’s Journey on our Facebook page.
It’s for children like Oscar that we urgently need your support. We have but one goal: to cure childhood cancer.
